Damon is the chief executive officer (CEO) of RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM), president of RBC GAM's institutional client business globally, and a member of the RBC GAM Leadership Committee. He is also the CEO and Ultimate Designated Person of RBC GAM Inc. Damon became CEO of the global and Canadian businesses in 2015 after serving as head of the institutional business globally and as president of PH&N Institutional, which he joined in 2005 as an institutional portfolio manager specialized in fixed income, since 2008 when RBC acquired it. His previous experience includes leading the global and Canadian investment consulting practices at a large multinational insurance, risk management, and human capital consulting firm. Damon started his career in the investment industry in 1993.
