Shanthu is a Senior Portfolio Manager at RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) and has covered North American Equities since joining RBC in 2012. While he has a specialized focus on the Consumer Discretionary and Industrials areas of the market, his responsibilities extend across a broad range of sectors, as he co-leads RBC GAM’s U.S. large-cap core and U.S. mid-cap growth strategies. Prior to joining RBC, he was as an assistant portfolio manager at a prominent Canadian bank, where he conducted research and analysis on small-cap Canadian stocks. His earlier experience includes a tenure as an equity associate with a focus on base metals at an investment bank and a role as an analyst at a large pension plan.
