Prior to joining RBC Global Asset Management, Huan held numerous roles within the banking industry, most recently as a Financial Planner-Investment Retirement Planning with RBC.
In Huan’s current role, he is a liaison between the field and our marketing department to determine what materials require translation and what materials need to be developed. He supports FP/IRP/PB across Canada for advice events in both Mandarin and Cantonese. He sits on the Financial Literacy and New Immigrant Strategy committees with RBC and works with the liaison to our Beijing office to help Asian clients wishing to relocate to Canada.
Huan Zhao grew up in China and spent the last 11 years in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He is currently living in Metro Vancouver. Huan is extremely passionate about helping newcomers in our community. He joined multiple organizations when he moved to Fredericton, serving as board of director in the Fredricton Chamber of Commerce; participating in junior achievement in-school programs; aiding in interpretation for immigrant interviews; assisting different programs and events in the Multicultural Association of Fredericton; and also volunteering as emcee for Chinese New Year festivals. He was honored to be a Fredericton business ambassador.
