Erick is a managing director and Head of RBC GAM’s Canadian Institutional business, PH&N Institutional. He leads Canadian Institutional business strategy and has accountability and oversight over all Institutional client and sales efforts in Canada. He is a member of the RBC GAM Leadership Committee, chairs the Canadian Institutional Management Committee and sits on investment committees for both public and private alternative investment strategies. In his prior role as an Institutional Portfolio Manager at RBC GAM, his responsibilities included leading the overall development of the firm’s alternative investment platform and solutions. Erick’s experience prior to joining the organization in 2011 includes leadership positions at a Europe-based investment management firm, a London-based hedge fund, and a global private bank in Canada. Erick started his career in the investment industry in 1995.
