Jaco is Managing Director and Global Head of Quantitative Research & Investments at RBC GAM Inc. He joined RBC GAM in 2019 to help future proof the quant business and to ensure that systematic investing thrives at the firm. He is a member of the RBC GAM Investment Strategy Committee. Prior to joining the organization, Jaco held an executive role at one of Africa’s largest financial services companies, leading the Investment Management Office and working across pension funds, insurance, banking, and wealth management. He has chaired the boards and investment committees of several pension plans and has a track record in driving transformational change.
