Doug is Head of RBC GAM’s Individual Investor business, and a member of the organization’s global Leadership Committee. He began his career in 1986 as an investment advisor with RBC Dominion Securities (RBC DS). After a five-year interlude as an investment specialist in the private banking unit of another Canadian bank, he re-joined RBC DS in 1993, assuming responsibility for all North American fee-based programs for both RBC DS and RBC Dain Rauscher, before becoming the head of Canadian RBC Wealth Management Services and then, in 2005, President and CEO of RBC Direct Investing. Doug joined RBC GAM in 2009.
