Darrin is a portfolio manager on the RBC GAM Global Infrastructure Investment team. He is responsible for the execution of an infrastructure fund’s investment and asset management strategy, and collaborating internally and with external co-investment partners to execute the fund’s mandate. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Darrin was head of Infrastructure Asset Management for a large, global real assets investment manager. In this role, he established and directed an asset management function for the direct infrastructure platform, provided ongoing risk monitoring and management of portfolio investments, led the portfolio valuation process, and developed the ESG strategy for private infrastructure. Prior to this, Darrin held various senior roles in transactions and asset management within the infrastructure group at one of Canada’s largest pension plans, where he worked for 12 years. Darrin started working in finance and infrastructure in 1999 and began his professional career in public accounting.
