Matthew McPhee, Managing Director

A founding member of the Infrastructure Investment Group, Matthew has more than 25 years of equity research and portfolio management experience with both U.S. and international markets. He has been active in infrastructure investing and the development of fund of fund strategies in both the U.S and Australia.

Matthew’s was formerly a Managing Director of State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) and Head of Global Fundamental Strategies, incorporating a range of strategies for U.S., EAFE and global mandates. He served as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Global Active Equity group, where he was responsible for portfolio management across the quantitative international active equity strategies and was a member of State Street Global Advisors Investment Committee.

Before joining SSgA in 2004, Matthew worked in Australia with AMP Capital Investors as Senior Portfolio Manager and Analyst. Prior to this he held senior analyst roles in Australia with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from University of Sydney.
