TORONTO, August 7, 2014 — RBC Global Asset Management Inc. (RBC GAM) today announced July net sales of $968 million. Long-term funds had net sales of $1.1 billion and money market funds had net redemptions of $113 million. Assets under management increased by 0.9 per cent.
“It was a record month for RBC Global Asset Management, as we exceeded all previous July long-term mutual fund net sales,” said Doug Coulter, president of RBC GAM. “A significant contributor to our positive inflows was the BlueBay Global Convertible Bond Fund, which hit the milestone of more than $1 billion in assets under management during the month of July.”
Sales results information is based on preliminary data from the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC).
